SCOPE:

DDFD activities are development and maintenance of JIS's (Japanese Industrial Standards) corresponding to international standards produced by ISO/IEC JTC1/SC34 or former JTC1/SC18/WG8:

• (1) Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML) and SGML support facilities
• (2) SGML Application Standards, e.g., HTML, HyTime, etc.
• (3) Font Information Interchange and its Applications
• (4) Document Style Semantics and Specification Language (DSSSL)
• (5) Page Description Language
