We are now preparing the TMB vote for Appointment of the Unicode Consortium as a Registration Authority for ISO/IEC 10036:1996. Please kindly be requested to confirm my question. That is whether the Unicode Consortium accepted the all registration works covered by ISO/IEC 10036:1996 or not. This was concerned by the document SC34 N 0026 and I have heard that the said proposal would be acceptable to SC 34 only if the Unicode Consortium agrees to cover all responsibilities specified by ISO/IEC 10036:1996 (I believe 1995 is error of 1996). But if the apointee ful- fills all the responsibilities of the authority specified in ISO/IEC 10036:1995, we will change our negative vote to one of approval.
