5. Style Specifications

The style specifications are described by

• DSSSL (ISO/IEC 10179) for strictly ISO/IEC-directive-conformed rendering
• XSL for light-weight rendering
• XSLT for preview by ordinary HTML browsers

By using an XML editor working with the formatter, the authoring of ISO standards in the XML DTD can be carried out in WYSIWYG-like operations.

(1) Actual operation of Tool 1 (an XML Editor installed with 9573-11 DTD and DSSSL Processor) will be shown by Mr. Noguchi.

(2) Actual operation of Tool 2 (an XML Editor and XSL Processor) will be shown by Dr. Mitsuda.
